Feather bow fancy trim, 3812.
At long last, these trims are available for purchase. They each need to be completely restored due to the fragility of the early 1900s adhesive that originally held them together. The complete trim, as far as I can tell, consists of 2 circular shapes that are each formed of a partial quill, divided on the vertical, and pasted into place. Each circle has an assemblage of pasted feather quill shafts attached to the center, along with a pasted curled quill tip. The circle are attached with another quill shaft assemblage. These are amazing as parts or as a restored trim. So many possibilities. Available now in black and chocolate/orange. Pictures show a variety of views of trims, including a pic of the trim in 2 pieces.
New Old Stock millinery feather trims, early 1900s (1920s-40s), probably vintage Lemarie.
Uses: millinery/hats, lapel pins, hat pins, hair accessories, fascinators.
